About this item

The last Dead Kennedy album, and the one responsible for their “downfall”.

Not because of the lyrical content (at least not officially) but because of they included a poster of H.R. Giger’s Penis Landscape painting in it.

This album is one of the newest in my collection, but instantly became one of my most treasured ones as well.

I had packed it up and mailed it off to Jello Biafra on March 7, 2026 only to find out (the next day) he’d suffered a stroke that same day. At that point, I more or less wrote it off i figuring he had far bigger things to worry about than signing a random fan’s record.

About a month later, a package showed up from Alternative Tentacles. I assumed someone there had come across my album in a pile of mail and sent it back.

But when I opened it, my jaw dropped – it was signed. Forget about the the autograph itself, getting this back with his signature meant that he’s on the road to recovery.

When his condition was announced, he was quoted saying that “I still have a lot of great stuff in me, but right now I got a lot of rehabbing to do.” I’m just glad he’s got the opportunity to keep on working on all of his great stuff.
