Gogol Bordello

Biography

First heard about Gogol when i bought the Kill Your Idols DVD so many years ago, which i did only because JG Thirlwell and Lydia Lunch were on the credits as well.

They looked like a whole lot of fun, but for some odd reason, I didn’t get around to seeing them for the first time until December 30, 2025 at the State Theater in Portland, Maine.

At that moment, I made a vow to never miss another show of theirs again… and what do I do? Miss their March 25, 2026 show in Boston. Oops.
