Stranded in the Jungle tells the story of drummer Jerry Nolan from his childhood into his music career touching on his time with his idol Gene Krupa, as well as Wayne County’s Electric Chairs, Suzi Quatro, and then to the bands where he made his own lasting impressions on scene – the New York Dolls and the Heartbreakers.

There has been tons written about Johnny Thunders over the years, but the picture of Nolan was always foggy at best. While his struggles are well documented, Curt Weiss’ bio really brought the rest of his life into focus.

Definite a must-read for any fan of the Dolls and Heartbreakers.
