Walter Lure
Walter sure had a history… he went from the Demons to the Heartbreakers to Wall Street (the financial place, not a band) and to his namesake band, the Waldos.
As he noted in often in interviews, he was recruited to the Heartbreakers by Johnny Thunders while he was still a member of the Demons and: “My last gig with the Demons was back at CBGB on the Friday of July 4 weekend, performing in front of about twenty people at two in the morning. My first gig with the Heartbreakers was the following evening in front of several hundred screaming maniacs, with a line around the block as well. It was a madhouse.”
After Walter wrapped up his career on Wall Street, he published his autobiography “To Hell and Back: My Life in Johnny Thunders’ Heartbreakers, in the Words of the Last Man Standing“, released a second Waldos album
